Summer

Feeling a little out of it lately- mostly in a good way though. Summer seems to be racing by and still there are lots of unfinished paintings. I'm still having a little trouble balancing my family life and work life, [ why I thought it would be so different just because I have no classes scheduled I don't know.]The good news is I already have lots of finished work too...So maybe I will stop trying to build Rome in a day and try to relax a little.
We just returned from a lovely holiday in the B.C. interior and was very inspired by the pictures we took: city skylines, wildlife photos at the aquarium, mountain landscapes....its all good and very inspiring. I will get there slowly but surely.
This is a little painting that was lying around for a couple of years and I finally decided it was finished. It sums up my day-dreamy mood lately. Its for sale in my Etsy shop,[if you decide you just have to buy it.]
